OxygenOS 3.0.1 Beta For OnePlus 2 Available

oneplus-2-review-15It is now close to two months since the Marshmallow-based OxygenOS 3.0 beta for the OnePlus 2 has been released, and we are pleased as punch that the story does not end there. In fact, OnePlus has just made available yet another beta community build which is known as OxygenOS 3.0.1, where it is not available via Over The Air (OTA) since one would need to download it (in the source link) from the company’s website – which is similar from the previous edition.

OnePlus mentioned on its download page, “We appreciate everyone’s feedback from the first community build. With your help we have been able to better optimize the build and improve several key areas.”

For sure there are changes in this particular update, and the company has listed down enhanced Doze mode, a better working fingerprint sensor, addition of clear process in the recents screen for the option to remove background processes, new feature in recents screen that enables one to lock apps which you do not want to have them removed via clear all, with the mandatory list of bug fixes and improvements. All in all, this does look like a beta that is worth downloading and trying out, and since there has been no uproar about devices bricking after installation, it should be safe to go.
