Samsung Galaxy J2 Gains FCC Certification

samsung logo 4When it comes to new consumer electronics devices being released in the US, those will first need to jump through a few hoops and hurdles that are presented by the FCC before gaining the proper certification. It is, after all, for the safety of the consumers. Having said that, the process of doing so tends to reveal information about said device, and so the same remains with the Samsung Galaxy J2, which is the next generation model of what has already been released before.

Having picked up its FCC certification, this certainly means that the Samsung Galaxy J2 is not too far away from being released to the masses. This particular listing remains inaccessible for technical reasons, although we do know that it will carry the model number SM-J210F as well as a 1,500mAh battery. Hmm, the battery capacity is far from being inspiring or reassuring, taking into consideration how it is already 2016 and it feels as though this is a handset that is stuck in time.

If that is the case, then it will surely be a smartphone which will cater to those in developing countries and emerging markets, while mature markets would probably give this a pass. Should it be released stateside, expect it to be really, really affordable.
