We never seem to have enough storage on our phones, and if it’s one that doesn’t support microSD cards, then we’re always in the middle of a constant battle to delete stuff or move content to the cloud just so we can clear up some space. Google is willing to help out in that battle. It has added an uninstall manager in the Google Play Store app for Android, it will suggest unused apps on the device that can be uninstalled to free up space on the handset.

The uninstall manager works in a very simple manager. It looks at apps that have been installed on the device but haven’t been used in quite some time. Most of us have a few of these apps on our phones, apps we once installed and just never cared to uninstall.

It will go through all of those apps and show how much space each app is taking up, so you can see at a glance how much space you will free up by uninstalling those apps.

Then, it’s only a matter of checking the apps that you no longer want on your phone and hitting continue. It will uninstall those applications and free up space on your device, thus ensuring that you don’t have to manually find and uninstall each unused app, making life much easier.
