Serious Sam 4 Could Be Unveiled At E3

Serious-SamThe Serious Sam FPS is a rather interesting one and one that we haven’t seen for many years. In fact the last time we saw a Serious Sam game was back in 2011 with Serious Sam 3: BFE. Ever since then, there have been rumors about a Serious Sam 4 but nothing has come to fruition so far. At least until now.

A recent tweet (via VG247) by Serious Sam’s publisher Devolver Digital revealed that there would be a new Croteam title unveiled at E3 2016. For those unfamiliar, Croteam is the developer behind Serious Sam and while the company easily announce just about anything, a follow-up Facebook post by Croteam them read, “Get excited! Things are getting serious….”

If that isn’t a teaser for Serious Sam 4 then we don’t know what is. Like we said, the last time a Serious Sam title was released was back in 2011, meaning that gamers and fans have been waiting around for 5 years for the next installment, meaning that it is about time that we get a sequel.

Of course fans of the Half-Life franchise have been waiting much longer for Half-Life 3, if that’s ever going to happen, so 5 years isn’t too bad of a wait. In any case we guess we will find out more in the coming weeks, so remember to check back with us for the details.
