iPhone 7 Announcement Reportedly Taking Place On September 7th

We all know that Apple is due to unveil new iPhones next month but the company hasn’t confirmed yet when the announcement will take place. Multiple reports and rumors have suggested various dates, and the latest report today claims that the iPhone 7 is going to be unveiled on September 7th. All that’s known for sure right now is that new iPhones have traditionally been announced in September and there’s no reason for Apple to stray from tradition in 2016.

Bloomberg reports today that the iPhone 7 is going to be unveiled on September 7th. It’s around the same time as last year when the iPhone 6S was announced on September 9th.

Much has already been rumored about this handset. Many believe that Apple is going to dump the 3.5mm headphone jack and add a new home button that provides haptic feedback. No major design changes are expected for this iteration of the iPhone as Apple is believed to be saving a design overhaul for the 2017 iPhone, which will mark the 10th anniversary of its flagship product.

If Apple is really going to unveil the iPhone 7 on September 7th then it should take more than a couple of weeks for the company to start sending out invites and confirm the launch date. The release typically takes place a week after the new iPhone is announced.
