According to various reports from users, they claim that Amazon has sent them emails confirming that their plans are being killed off in favor of the Unlimited Storage plan that is priced at $60 a year. These customers will be given a free 3 month trial before they decide if they want to keep paying for it, or cancel it.
Oddly enough some users are reporting that their emails read a little differently, where instead of 3 months they are given a 12 month free trial to the Unlimited Storage plan, and we’re not sure what’s with the discrepancy. We should also point out that the cancellation of the plan seems to only apply to those who aren’t Prime members.
Amazon’s Drive website seems to suggest that those who are Prime members will still get unlimited photo storage as part of their subscription, so for those who aren’t, either fork out $60 for the Unlimited Storage plan (that covers more than just photos), subscribe to Prime, or starting looking elsewhere for your photo cloud storage needs.
