Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime And Galaxy J5 Prime Launched In India

Samsung has launched two new mid-range handsets in India today. The Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime were both launched today, we’ve already seen Samsung launch the former in Vietnam in the recent past. Both of these handsets are bonafide mid-range devices so don’t expect much in the name of high-end functionality. These devices are meant for the budget-minded customer in India.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime has a 5.5 inch 1080p TFT display with an Exynos 7870 processor under the hoood coupled with 3GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, LTE and dual-SIM support, 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera as well as a 3,300mAh battery.

On the other hand, the Galaxy J5 Prime features a 5 inch HD TFT display with a quadcore processor from an unknown manufacturer that’s hooked up to 2GB RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The handset also features microSD card, dual-SIM, and LTE support as well as an 8 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera.

Both the Galaxy J5 Prime and the Galaxy J7 Prime have been fashioned out of metal. They also feature fingerprint sensors as well as new software features from Samsung. The Galaxy J7 Prime is priced at $280 and the Galaxy J5 Prime at $220. They have now been launched in India.
