UK’s Royal Mail Apparently Refusing To Ship The Galaxy Note 7

galaxy-note-7-s-pen_02-tipFor a moment there it looked as though Samsung was on top of things when it came to the Galaxy Note 7 recall. Customers were turning their phones in, sales are up, and it looks like things were slowly going back to normal, or at least until we started hearing reports that the replacement units are proving to be a headache as well.

Just recently there was a report that a replaced Note 7 unit had caught on fire on a Southwest flight, and there have also been reports of major cruise liners banning the replaced phones as well. Now to add to Samsung’s problem, Android Authority has heard that the UK’s Royal Mail service is refusing to accept any shipments that might contain the phone.

The report goes on to add that some post offices are going one step further by flat out refusing any Samsung phone. Like we said this is another headache for Samsung as it means that customers or retailers who are trying to send their phones back could run into obstacles like this, thus making it harder for them.

Granted there are alternative services like FedEx, DHL, and so on, but those courier services tend to be more expensive and there’s also no guarantee that they’ll accept Note 7 shipments as well.
