New Galaxy S7 Nougat Beta Released By Samsung

It has been over a month since Samsung launched the Galaxy Beta Program for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge. The program enables select users to take beta Nougat builds for a spin on their device. Samsung is yet to confirm when it’s going to release Nougat for the public but it continues to roll out new beta builds for the handsets. Samsung today released a new Galaxy S7 Nougat beta build for members of the Galaxy Beta Program.

This happens to be the fourth Galaxy S7 Nougat beta that Samsung has released so far and it also happens to be the smallest one yet. It doesn’t bring much in the way of new features aside from bug fixes and stability improvements which are a staple with every update.

What the new Galaxy S7 Nougat beta does other than bringing bug fixes and stability improvements is that it removes Samsung Notes as a pre-installed app from the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Samsung has decided to remove this pre-installed app after Samsung Notes received support for Nougat in an update sent out just yesterday.

Those who are running the latest build of Nougat beta on their handset and want to use this app can now head over to Galaxy Apps store or the Google Play Store to download Samsung Notes on their handsets. It would be best to do that before installing the fourth beta since all Samsung Notes data is erased once the latest beta of Nougat is installed.
