Sony Xperia L1 Offers Smooth Performance At Affordable Price

Sony has announced the launch of its new smartphone called Xperia L1. It has a large 5.5 inch HD display and promises “fluid performance” and at affordable price. It touts signature Sony design with a large display and rounded frame that feels comfortable in the hand. The large HD display is obviously going to be one of the biggest selling points of this device but there’s more to it than the 5.5 inch panel.

The Xperia L1 has a seamless rounded frame that looks similar to other Sony smartphones. It’s going to be sold in classic Black and White colors while a Pink color option will be offered in select markets.

It has a MediaTek quadcore processor under the hood, 2GB RAM, 16GB RAM with support for 256GB microSD card, a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera, and a 2,620mAh battery. As you might have guessed by now, the specs are nothing to write home about, but that’s not why Sony has made this handset in the first place.

Sony keeps repeating that the Xperia L1 is going to be an affordable option but it hasn’t really said anything about the price as yet.

It did mention that the L1 is going to be released next month so we’ll have to wait for a couple of weeks to find out whether or not the Xperia L1 is really going to be a good option at its price.
