Fujifilm Instax SQUARE SQ10 Hybrid Camera Launched

For those unfamiliar, Fujifilm has a series of Instax film cameras where just like Polaroid cameras, you could snap a photo and have it printed on the spot. It relied on film which meant that you couldn’t really take back photos you snapped, which we suppose is kind of the charm of such a camera.

However if you love the idea of being able to pick and choose your photos, Fujifilm has officially launched the Fujifilm Instax SQUARE SQ10. If this sounds familiar, it is because a couple of weeks ago Fujifilm had confirmed the existence of the camera but now it looks like we have the official specs and features.

Basically this camera combines the charm of being able to print your photos on the spot together with digital image processing technology. This should result in photos that are of greater image quality, and also the ability to edit/process your photos before deciding which to print. Given that film packs aren’t exactly cheap, this could save you a lot of money on wasted shots.

There will be a bunch of different filters that users can apply to their photos and also comes with dual shutter buttons, so whether you’re left handed or right handed you’ll be able to pull the trigger. In terms of pricing and availability, the Fujifilm Instax SQUARE SQ10 is priced at $280 and is expected to be made available this coming May.
