However Huawei wants to change that and they have announced a new program in the form of the Honor Beta. According to Huawei’s announcement, “Honor Beta is about exploring the smartphone experience you want. What do you like, what don’t you like, what is actually useful, or downright annoying? What have you ever wished your phone would do? Honor Beta Testers will have the opportunity to trial pre-released hardware and software in exchange for candid feedback.”
Huawei is currently accept signups for users who wish to be part of the program, and presumably there will be some kind of NDA involved where Huawei will most likely not want users share certain bits of information ahead of their release. It is unclear as to what specifically will users be testing, but if you’re interested you can sign up to be part of the program via its website.
That being said, note that this program is currently only available to those who are living in the US. If you are living in other parts of the world, you would be out of luck for now.
