Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 May Cost $650

It was confirmed by Samsung a few months back that it’s going to launch a refurbished variant of the Galaxy Note 7 in select markets across the globe. This will enable the company to get rid of the millions of units of the Galaxy Note 7 that are collecting dust in warehouses. According to a new report, the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 is going to cost around $650.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed as yet what it’s going to call the refurbished variant of last year’s ill-fated flagship. It hasn’t confirmed in which markets this variant will be sold and how much it’s going to cost.

Reports suggest that the device might be called Galaxy Note FE or “Fan Edition,” and that it’s going to have a big “R” symbol at the back which will signify that it’s a refurbished unit. Other than that, it’s going to have the same design as last year’s flagship. It’s even said to be offered in the same colors as the original Note 7.

The specs will thus be identical to the Galaxy Note 7, which means that the Galaxy Note FE will feature a 5.7 inch Quad HD display with an Exynos 8890 processor and 4GB of RAM. However, it’s believed to come with a smaller 3,200mAh battery.

According to a new report, Samsung is going to sell the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 for 732,000 won in South Korea which is around $650. That’s quite the price to pay for a refurbished variant of the handset that has a reputation of spontaneously combusting.
