Moto X4 Android One Edition Leaked

The much-rumored Moto X4 from Motorola was finally unveiled last month at IFA 2017 in Berlin. The handset has respectable specifications and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with some customizations made to it by Motorola. However, if a new leak is to be believed, there might be an Android One variant of the Moto X4. It might be the first Android One handset to be officially released in the United States.

Evan Blass a.k.a @evleaks has published a render of a Moto X4 with the “Android One” branding at the back. This tiny stamp could indicate that Motorola might have made a variant of this handset with stock Android.

If this is true, it’s going to be the first Android One handset for the U.S. market. It won’t surprise anyone, given that it has been reported multiple times that Google might finally expand its Android One program to its home country.

The Android One variant is simply going to have a stock version of Android. All other specifications should remain the same. In that case, it’s going to have a 5.2 inch full HD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor under the hood coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

It also touts a 12 megapixel and 8 megapixel dual camera system as well as a 16 megapixel front facing camera.

No word as yet on the pricing and availability details for this handset.
