Early Galaxy S9 Launch Rumored With iPhone X-Like Tricks

Every year, we hear rumors that Samsung will be announcing its upcoming flagship smartphone earlier than its predecessor. Similar rumors are surfacing for the Galaxy S9 as well. This latest rumor not only claims that, but it also suggests that the Galaxy S9 is going to have some iPhone X-like tricks up its sleeve.

According to the rumor, the Galaxy S9 is going to be announced earlier than its predecessor. If that’s the case, we might see Samsung unveiling the handset early next year. Perhaps it might unveil the Galaxy S9 at the Mobile World Congress 2018?

It’s also claimed that the Galaxy S9 is going to have a dual camera system. That’s to be expected, given that Samsung has already introduced its dual camera system with the Galaxy Note 8 this year.

The handset may also have some tricks like the iPhone X, it’s claimed. Previous rumors have suggested that it’s going to have an improved facial recognition system that would rival Apple’s Face ID.

That might enable the handset to provide features like Animoji, which lets users take advantage of the advanced face mapping technology to create some really cool animated emojis.

This is all just speculation at this point in time so take it with a grain of salt.
