Alexa-Enabled HiMirror Mini Smart Mirror Launched

[CES 2018] The first HiMirror smart mirror appeared on the scene back in October 2016. The device promised to provide people with information about their skin status in real-time. The device was basically a large humidity resistant tablet that was powered by Android. It had a reflective coating on the display and a webcam on the front. The company has unveiled a new smart mirror at CES 2018 and it’s called the HiMirror Mini.

We found the product demo to be pretty impressive in our hands on with the first HiMirror smart mirror. It provided a detailed report on the user’s skin and was even able to provide the exact locations and status of red spots, dark spots, wrinkles, dark eye circles, fine lines, etc.

The HiMirror Mini works along the same lines. It’s 13.31 x 9.02 inches with a 10.1 TFT LCD panel. It’s Alexa-enabled which means it can tap into the digital assistant’s vast library of skills. The HiMirror Mini also adds a touchscreen feature to the HiMirror portfolio.

Like its predecessor, the HiMirror Mini works with accessories that are sold separately. They include the Smart Body Scale and the HiSkin. The body scale lets users identify their body type and measure their weight, body mass index, body fat, muscle mass, resting metabolism, etc.

The HiMirror Mini will be available for purchase later this year for $249.
