Google Launches Official Wall Mount For The Home Mini

Amazon and Google both offer a range of smart speakers, ranging from small like the Echo Dot and Home Mini, to larger offerings like the regular Echo and the Home Max. However it seems that despite the appeal of larger speakers sounding better, it is actually the smaller speakers that are selling better.

This is true of both the Echo Dot and also apparently that of the Home Mini by Google, so much so that it looks like Google has decided to launch an official wall mount for the speaker by teaming up with accessory maker Incipio. The wall mount is pretty standard and straightforward and not complicated. It comes with a couple of screws that helps secure it to the wall (or 3M tape if you’d rather not drill), you pop your Home Mini in and you’re good to go.

The mount is also priced at $15 which just like the Home Mini, is relatively inexpensive so you should have no problems filling up your home with these if you plan to be able to access Google Assistant throughout your house. Those who are interested will be able to grab one for themselves via the Google Store.

In the meantime it appears that smart speakers are a rising trend, in case it wasn’t obvious already. A recent study revealed that one in six Americans own a smart speaker, and that the number of smart speaker owners have more than doubled in a year.
