Ubisoft Has Plans To Do More Things For The Nintendo Switch

When the Wii U was launched, it didn’t take long for developers and even retailers to lament at how poorly the console was doing. However with the Nintendo Switch, developers and retailers are singing a completely different story as many appear to be pretty happy and optimistic about the console’s future.

One such company is Ubisoft in which during the company’s recent financial call (via Nintendo Everything), CEO Yves Guillemot was quoted as saying, “So yes, this relationship continues to grow, and we are very happy with what we were able to achieve with Mario + Rabbids. Let’s also not forget the fact that Just Dance is also a big seller on the Switch, and that will continue to follow the growth of that machine.”

Guillemot also reveals that the company has plans to do more for the Switch in the future, but he can’t share the details about that for now. “And yes in the future we are going to do more things – we just can’t go over that right now.” It has been rumored that South Park: The Fractured But Whole could be coming to the Switch thanks to a retailer listing, but Ubisoft has yet to confirm it. In any case only time will tell what else Ubisoft has planned for the console, so check back with us later for more details.
