Apple’s New iPad Now Available To Purchase In-Store

If you’ve got your eye on Apple’s new iPad then you might be interested in finding out that it’s now available in-store. You can walk into an Apple Store right now and get your hands on Apple’s latest 9.7 inch iPad. The company announced the tablet at its education-focused event earlier this week. It’s the successor to last year’s 9.7 inch iPad.

Apple retail stores and Best Buy locations are both showing stock which means customers can walk into either location and purchase the new iPad right away. Powered by Apple’s A10 Fusion processor, the new 9.7 inch iPad is the first non-Pro iPad from Apple to come with support for the Apple Pencil. That’s because the company is targeting this tablet at the education market.

The new chip promises a 40 percent performance improvement as well as a 50 percent improvement in graphics performance. The tablet also features a FaceTime HD camera and an 8 megapixel camera at the back. Apple claims that the battery will last up to ten hours on a single charge. Apple’s stylus, called the Apple Pencil, will be sold as a separate accessory for $99. It can now be used to draw on the tablet with pressure and tilt sensitivity.

Available in silver, space gray, and gold colors, the new iPad starts at $329 and $459 for the Wi-Fi and LTE models with 32GB of storage.
