Bethesda E3 2018 Briefing Won’t Be Too Long

The biggest annual gaming convention is just around the corner. With E3 2018 due to start next year, many are interested in finding out what their favorite companies have in store for the convention. Bethesda will certainly be conducting a press briefing at the event to show off what it has been working on and the company has assured fans that its briefing won’t be too long.

Lengthy press briefings are a staple at E3 every year. It’s common for the likes of EA and Ubisoft to take more than one hour to talk about whatever they have got going on. Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference went on for almost two hours.

Bethesda always brings a breath of fresh air to the proceedings with its short briefings. Its E3 2017 show was just 39 minutes long. It’s also important to note that all of the games it showed off during E3 2017, including Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, were released last year. This is a different approach compared to other companies that only tease and show glimpses of projects first that may not be coming out for a long time.

It’s unclear what else Bethesda has lined up for E3 2018 other than Rage 2 which was recently announced and will be detailed at the event. Bethesda marketing head Pete Hines has confirmed on Twitter, though, that he can assure fans that the company’s E3 2018 press briefing won’t be super long. “I assure you it won’t be three hours long,” he tweeted.
