Google Pixel 3 Seems To Have A Disappearing Photo Problem

When you take a photo on your smartphone, you expect that photo to be saved. Unfortunately according to some Google Pixel 3 owners, that isn’t always the case as some users are reporting that the photos they take are not saved on their phones. This can be annoying especially if you’re trying to capture photos in the moment.

In fact this doesn’t seem to be a Pixel 3 exclusive problem because there have been reports dating back to the original Pixel and Pixel 2 as well, so it seems like it could be a software issue that seems to only affect the Pixel lineup. There is some good news and that is Google has since promised that a fix is in the works.

According to Google, “We will be rolling out a software update in the coming weeks to address the rare case of a photo not properly saving.” This software update will address the issues that Pixel and Pixel 2 users are experiencing as well, but it is a bit disappointing that Google has taken this long to address a bug that has been around for the past couple of years. No specific dates have been mentioned regarding the release of the fix, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for it.
