OnePlus Seems To Have Edited Out The OnePlus 6T Bezels In Its Ad

The other day it was reported that an Apple customer had sued Apple for allegedly misleading her with the iPhone XS’ design, where they claim that Apple had “hid” the notch on the iPhone in the photos on its website. However it seems that Apple might not be the only one trying to hide things.

A Twitter user by the name of “Dro” posted what appears to be an ad for the OnePlus 6T where it seems that the company edited the bezels of its smartphone to make it seem slimmer than it really is. In the photo uploaded to Twitter, it shows the phone with bezels that are almost non-existent, namely in the chin area of the phone where the bezels are the thickest.

That being said, we’re not sure why they had to edit the photo that way. The bezels on the OnePlus 6T are already pretty thin and in line with what most flagship smartphones are like these days in terms of design, but we suppose in terms of advertising and marketing, it does make the phone look “better”.

It is possible that maybe because the phone is held at an angle that makes it look like the bezels are thinner than they really are, but we can’t say that with certainty. The company has yet to officially respond to the reports but we wouldn’t be surprised if future marketing of the handset would feature more accurate representations of the phone.
