Snapdragon Galaxy S10 Seemingly Outperforms Its Exynos Variant

During the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit, the company took the wraps off the Snapdragon 855 platform which will be the company’s flagship chipset for 2019. Presumably many flagship smartphones will be using the new technology, and we imagine that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be one of them.

Now thanks to what appears to benchmark scores published on AnTuTu’s Weibo account, it seems that the Snapdragon 855 version of the Galaxy S10 is outperforming that of the Galaxy S10 with the Exynos 9820. Samsung usually launches two versions of its flagship phones, where one will use Qualcomm’s hardware, and the other will use Samsung’s own  Exynos platform.

However if these benchmark scores are accurate, it seems that the Snapdragon 855 has outperformed the Exynos 9820. However it should be noted that for starters we don’t know how accurate these scores are, and there is a chance that these aren’t the final units of the Galaxy S10 that will be released for the masses.

Also we can imagine that Samsung will probably fine tune the phones further to ensure that they all perform on the same level, which unless the company can squeeze out more performance from the Exynos 9820, could mean artificially limiting the Snapdragon 855, which hopefully won’t be the case.
