Destiny 2 Will Still Continue To Be Support By Blizzard’s Battle.net

When Destiny 2 was announced, it was also revealed that the game would be available via the Battle.net Launcher, which is Blizzard’s launcher for their own games like World of Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, Overwatch, and so on. This is due to the fact that Destiny was published by Activision who they share the same parent company with.

However now that Bungie and Activision have announced a split, with Bungie planning on self-publishing Destiny games in the future, what does this mean for Destiny 2? The good news is that it seems that nothing will change. This is according to a tweet by Blizzard’s customer service who revealed that Destiny 2 will continue to be supported by Battle.net, and that they do not anticipate any disruptions to their services or gameplay following the news.

This means that Destiny 2 players can continue to enjoy the game on their PC as if nothing happened. This is good news as we are sure that there might have been some gamers who were worried about disruptions. It is unclear what the future will be for the Destiny franchise, but last we heard, some analysts have predicted that despite the split, Destiny 3 is still on track for a 2020 release.
