The ASUSPRO B9 Is The ‘World’s Lightest’ Business Laptop

If you do a lot of business while on the move, then chances are you can appreciate a laptop that isn’t too bulky or heavy, especially if you’re going to carry it around all day. If you are interested in such a laptop, you’re in luck because at IFA 2019, ASUS has taken the wraps off the ASUSPRO B9, which the company claims is the “world’s lightest” business laptop.

It does seem like a rather niche category to be in, although at 880 grams, we have to agree that this is a pretty light laptop. In terms of specs, we’re looking at a 14-inch display that has been squeezed into a 13-inch body, thanks to its slim bezels that allowed it to achieve a 94% screen-to-body ratio.

ASUS is also claiming that it will be packing Intel’s 10th Gen Core processors, and will also support up to two 1TB SSDs, meaning that if you need a ton of storage on the move, this laptop has you covered (although given that it’s an SSD, it probably won’t come cheap). The laptop has also been built with US MIL-STD 810G standards in mind so it will be rugged to a certain degree.

There is no word on pricing or availability yet, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information when it does become available.
