The upcoming September 1st event by Apple might just be the platform for a new iPod nano that could very well do away with the traditional click wheel design, according to Shaw Wu fof Kaufman Bros. This would definitely be a surprise, as it is a departure from previous generations of the iPod nano – it would be akin to the iPod shuffle boasting a display now, eh? The missing click wheel would make for a smaller form factor that might or might not sit well with long time fans of the portable media player, and we will have to adopt a wait-and-see attitude till then. If Apple were to change the iPod nano design in any way, how would you have it?
