Designer_Lifestyle-7Back in April, Samsung teased an upcoming Swarovski Collection for its products. This basically meant that we could look forward to handsets embedded with Swarovski crystals along with possible accessories as well. Looks like Samsung delivered on their promise and has since officially announced the “Swarovski for Samsung” Collection which will be launching via their online store.

So what can customers look forward to? Well for starters the Swarovski for Samsung collection will be applied to both the Samsung Galaxy S5 handset and the Samsung Gear Fit fitness tracker. This comes in the form of Swarovski embedded covers for the Galaxy S5, and charm sliders for the Gear Fit.Galaxy-S5_Swarovski-Cover-8The Galaxy S5 covers will come in either a Vibrant Blue finish or a Mystic Black, while the Gear Fit charms will come in a variety of different styles and designs. Given that smartphones and fitness trackers aren’t exactly the most fashionable of products, those looking to give their gadgets a more personalized touch will now be able to do so.

According to Samsung’s Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, IT & Mobile Division, Younghee Lee, “With technology and fashion so deeply intertwined, Samsung is more dedicated than ever to supporting self-expression through technological innovation and meaningful partnerships. Collaborating with Swarovski on this stunning collection of device accessories reflects our commitment to providing people with user-experiences that express their distinct personalities and tastes.”

Availability will be kicking off in South Korea on the 8th of May, along with pre-sales in China. The Swarovski for Samsung collection will also be making its way to the UK shortly after, and come May 22nd, these accessories will be available via Samsung’s brick and mortar stores as well.
