For those of you who follow the fashion industry are probably familiar with the name and designer that is Tom Ford. Ford is known for his stylish and classy-looking pieces and it looks like he might want to bring back the pocket watch. This was recently spotted as part of Tom Ford’s Spring 2016 collection by New York Times report Matthew Schneier.
As you can see in the image above, a special accessory was created that allowed the Apple Watch to be hooked onto a chain where it pulled double duty as a pocket watch. Now we’re not sure if this is a one-off creation from Ford just to show off his Spring 2016 or if this is an accessory that the fashion designer plans on selling in the future.
Undoubtedly it is an intriguing idea and a new way to use the device. However for fitness enthusiasts who love the heart rate tracking system of the watch, obviously having it sit inside your pocket would not help you collect any data at all, so perhaps you might want to reconsider this idea.
However for those who are after something unique and fashionable, perhaps you could come up with something on your own. In the meantime what do you guys think? Is the pocket Apple Watch something you might consider accessorizing your outfit with?
