Apple Watch-3-Up-PRINTYesterday we reported that according to a rumor, Sprint is expected to begin selling the Apple Watch on the 25th of September. This is also the same date that the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be officially going on sale. Now according to the folks at MacRumors, they have learnt that T-Mobile is expected to do the same as well.

Prior to this, T-Mobile’s CEO John Legere had announced that the carrier would be selling the Apple Watch. However Legere did not provide any specific dates so this rumor is the first we’re hearing of it. While it is a rumor, we suppose it would be possible given the significance of the 25th of September, which like we said is the official release date for Apple’s new iPhones.

Pricing was not mentioned, but chances are it will be priced the same as Apple and it seems unlikely that T-Mobile will be offering it on contract. This means that you can expect to pay $350-$400 for the Apple Watch Sport, and $550-$600 for the Apple Watch with the difference in price due to the difference in watch face size.

The Apple Watch’s availability via T-Mobile and Sprint also marks a departure from the early days of the Apple Watch’s availability, where previously it was an exclusive to online orders, before it slowly made its way into Apple’s stores, selected luxury retailers, and now we have more commercial retailers like Best Buy selling the device as well.
