Samsung Highlight just launched by T-Mobile

T-Mobile just launched the Samsung Highlight, a touch phone that has pretty much all the features that you can think of in a mid-range handset. Set to be available this month, the Highlight looks good “on paper”. What worries us is the seemingly proprietary user interface. In the past, Samsung has not delivered a great user experience on their proprietary interface and the screenshot on the right doesn’t really get us excited.

That said, we’ll give it the benefit of the doubt because we have not played with it in the real world. May be it is as good as the LG Arena, but that would be a nice surprise. The handset is expected to cost $150 with a 2-year contract. (Specifications in the full post)
