Sprint to offer Samsung Moment and Sanyo SCP-3810

Sprint has started to offer a couple of new handsets – the Samsung Moment and Sanyo SCP-3810. The former is the second Android-powered handset from Sprint after the HTC Hero, where it will sport a QWERTY keyboard for easy messaging, a 3.2″ HVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, GPS navigation support, a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera with flash and an 800MHz processor. As for the Sanyo SCP-3810, this entry-level clamshell will come with a 2.4″ QVGA internal display, GPS capabilities, a Web browser, Bluetooth connectivity and a basic 1.3-megapixel camera. The Samsung Moment will retail for $179.99 on contract after a $100 mail-in rebate while the Sanyo SCP-3810 is free on contract after a $50 mail-in rebate.
