McDonalds Japan To Use Nintendo DS To Train Employees

We recently heard that Nintendo is trying to get its Nintendo DS gaming console into junior high schools in Japan, and now it seems that even McDonald’s is embracing Nintendo’s popular portable gaming console. It seems that the fast good giant is developing a Nintendo DS training program for its part-time employees, called eSmart. Considering the size of McDonalds, the ¥200,000,000 (approx. $2.2M USD) cost of development is probably insignificant. McDonalds is hoping that the software will reduce training time by half, considering that everybody in Japan is already familiar with the Nintendo DS. What other places will the Nintendo DS be used in next?
