AT&T’s Sony Ericsson Vivaz makes its way past the FCC
Folks at the FCC have given their collective nod of approval for the Sony Ericsson Vivaz to be sold via AT&T, since an image of an AT&T-branded Vivaz has appeared within the hallowed halls of records of the FCC, not to mention references in the User Guide being made concerning AT&T Navigator, AT&T Maps and AT&T FamilyMap. Those who are looking for an Android-powered device would do well to look elsewhere, since this is a Symbian S60 5th Edition-powered smartphone that carries an 8.1-megapixel autofocus camera, HD (720p) video recording, a 360 x 640 pixels scratch-resistant touchscreen display, Wi-Fi connectivity, DLNA support, GPS navigation, a 3.5mm headset jack, Facebook and Twitter integration, a preinstalled 8GB memory card and a 720MHz processor with PowerVR SGX graphics. No idea on pricing, but it ought to hit the market pretty soon we suspect.
