Professor Embeds A Camera To The Back Of His Head

We previously mentioned that a professor out at NYU was looking to install a camera at the back of his head, and now he really has gone ahead with it, and the project is called The 3rd I. The camera is a removable device that can be affixed to a titanium plate implanted at the back of his head and once everything is in place, the camera will take photographs each minute to record his activities for a whole year. The setup includes a cable that runs from the camera to a computer which he carries in a custom-made shoulder bag. Considering that he works at the university, it’s understandable that there will be privacy concerns and the professor has agreed to protect the privacy of his students by wearing a lens cap on the camera while he’s on campus. Would you want a camera at the back of your head? Video after the jump.
