LG Optimus Pad to make its debut at the Mobile World Congress

In a Korean press release, LG has confirmed that they will be showing off their upcoming Optimus Pad at the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Spain, Barcelona in just over a week. The Android tablet that was first talked about in the middle of last year is said to be the European counterpart of the recently unveiled T-Mobile G-Slate. The Optimus Pad packs an 8.9″ 3D-capable multi-touch display (1280 x 768), an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, a front facing camera for video-calling, 5 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, 32GB of internal memory, and a 6400mAh battery. It will support 1080p Full HD video playback on the tablet itself as well as through its HDMI output. The Optimus Pad runs on Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) and supports Flash as well.
