Evernote for iOS and OS X updated

Evernote iOS

Good news, Evernote users on iOS – the long awaited major update for the app on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad is finally here. After being available on Android and Windows Phone devices, Evernote for iOS has finally received rich text support. There’s still no support for creating check lists, but Evernote assures us it’s on the way. Other new features include: access to shared notebooks, searching within notes, slideshow view, the ability to lock Evernote with a passcode (premium-only) and a major update to the app for the iPad version.

As for the OS X version, Evernote has been redesigned to fit Lion’s interface, given a full-screen mode, de-cluttered, given a favorites bar, and some minor improvements under the hood. To grab the latest version of Evernote check out the Apple App Store or the Mac App Store.
