Kobo Vox hits the FCC

The folks over at the FCC are at it again – this time around, they have the Kobo Vox to play around with, which means it will be on its way to the mass market pretty soon. Some think that this is the reworked version of the recently released Touch Edition, as the only straw that we can grasp at is the listing known as “eReader Tablet”. Perhaps that might point it towards the direction of Barnes & Noble’s Nook Color, or perhaps the rumored tablet that is said to be announced at the upcoming Amazon press conference.

Not only that, Kobo’s partnership with Facebook might also have something to do with the Kobo Vox, but everything is still pretty much hush hush at the moment. The image provided does not provide any more clues either, but the design does seem to nudge it towards the latest version of the Nook rather than a new Kobo. At the side lies a microUSB slot and a headphone jack, while there is also a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

Ah well, the sit and wait game continues…
