PlaySay will rely on images to represent the fundamental components of language learning, letting basic language learners actually figure out their own Facebook updates in a new language, word by word – or in this case, with the help of image by image. After all, learning a new language (or anything else basically) with a group of friends is so much more fun than flying solo.
How is PlaySay going to make money from their app? Well, they intend to offer users the ability to cash in Facebook Credits so that premium PlaySay features such as private messaging and levels can be unlocked, and of course, the more you pay, the more learning options you will have at your disposal. At which point would it be more cost effective to just join a language class?
