Firmware update for AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S2 leaked

samsung-galaxy-s2-att-16If you’ve recently gotten your hands on AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S2, it looks like a firmware update for your device has already been leaked and is available for download, assuming of course your device has already been rooted. For those who would rather avoiding rooting or don’t know how to root, based on this leak, we don’t expect the actual update to be too far behind.

The build has been revealed to be I777UCKJ1 and will be based around Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 and Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. This firmware update isn’t a major update but it will address certain bugs that have plagued AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S2, such as a slight lag when pressing the Home button and it looks like it fixes the lockscreen bug too (which had previously allowed non-authorized users to bypass the unlocking code), along with a newly implemented overscroll glow. If you’ve rooted your Galaxy S2 and want to get your hands on this update, head on down to RootzWiki.
