Google TV update one step closer to being released?

Now we all know that the long-awaited Google TV update has been delayed by a few weeks, and it looks like Google is making good on their promise. The Google TV Developers twitter account recently posted a tweet announcing the release of the final Android SDK add-on for Google TV. While this won’t mean much for regular consumers, developers now have all the tools to make apps for Google TV.

Hopefully this means we’ll have a whole load of new apps to play around with at the launch of the Google TV update as well. The Google TV update should be here in time for the holidays.
