Samsung Exhibit 2 4G announced for T-Mobile

Samsung Exhibit 2 4GToday, Samsung and T-Mobile announced the launch of a new phone – the Samsung Exhibit 2 4G. The sequel to the first Exhibit 4G introduced back in June, the Exhibit 2 4G is touted to be a budget-friendly, feature-rich 4G smartphone. It features a 3.7″ WVGA display, a 1GHz processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 3-megapixel rear camera, a front facing camera, and of course 4G (HSPA+) connectivity.

The phone will be available at most Walmart stores starting Thursday, October 27th and will be sold at T-Mobile retail outlets starting November 2nd. The phone will also be T-Mobile’s first no annual contract 4G smartphone, though it will also be available with a 2-year contract. The Exhibit 2 4G will cost $29.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a 2-year contract, and $199.99 via no annual contract. A decent choice for folks who want a fast phone without being tied down to an agreement. Anybody planning to pick it up tomorrow?
