Siri functionality on your Mac?

One of the iPhone 4S’ strength would be the inclusion of Siri, your virtual talking assistant who is able to help you out in a variety of situations, although a lot of it depends on the plug-ins that it works with in the background, in addition to whether your accent is clear enough for Siri to understand. How about Siri making its way to a desktop machine, like the Mac? Granted, Google will probably do a better job at answering your queries then, but I guess it is all about the novelty factor we’re talking about. Well, OS X does come with a Speech Recognition system known as Speakable Items, which works in a very uncanny manner as that of Siri, so check out the video after the jump to see how Speakable Items can be set up and tweaked to your liking for a pseudo-Siri experience.
