Huawei MediaPad visits the FCC again, headed for AT&T

Huawei MediaPadRemember back in June when Huawei unveiled its brand new Android tablet – the MediaPad? While the tablet has since been made available in Asia, it looks like it’s going to be reaching our stores pretty soon. The MediaPad was recently spotted at the FCC, this time sporting the GSM and WCDMA bands used by AT&T. The tablet was previously spotted at the FCC as well, but carrying the radios for T-Mobile’s network instead.

No word of when we’ll actually see the tablet on sale, but I guess an official announcement would have to precede the sale first. The Huawei MediaPad features a Qualcomm 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 3.2 Honeycomb, a 7″ (1280 x 800) IPS display, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi. Head over to the source link if you’d like to have a look at the tablet’s internals including its massive 4,000mAh battery.
