How seriously do you take iRacing? Well, it seems that gamer Chad Smith is such a fan of the game and takes it so seriously to the point where he actually set up a racing rig to play the game across 5 monitors. Unfortunately the photo above does not do his setup justice and you will have to check it out in action in the video below.

The 5 monitors he used was paired with an AMD Radeon HD 6870 for a whopping total of a 9600×1080 combined resolution. Amazingly he managed to achieve about 84 frames-per-second while playing the popular multiplayer racing game. His setup also includes a force-feedback steering wheel with the iRaceDash app on his iPhone which he has fixed onto his steering wheel.

The app provides real-time data on the performance of his car in game, such as speed, fuel level and even tire condition. Talk about immersive! Check out the video below to see Chad Smith’s iRacing rig in action.
