The report has also suggested that this smaller tablet will be going head-to-head against their Android competitors, namely Amazon’s Kindle Fire and the Samsung Galaxy Tab, and will be priced around the sub-$300 market and could retail for $249 or $299. Also according to the rumors, it seems that this smaller sized iPad will not be utilizing the same Retina display found on Apple’s latest iPad, but will instead turn to IPS/FFS panels from LG Display and AU Optronics.
Digitimes’ track record has been rather spotty as of late, so we suggest that you guys should take this information with a grain of salt for now until more details can be uncovered, but what do you guys think?
