Skype for iPad updated to retina display

Skype has released an update to their iPad app that has been tuned to the Retina display. This mainly means that the many icons are now available in high-definition, and that the user-interface (UI) is clean and sharp. Overall, the experience remains very similar to what iPad 2 users have been getting, except for the notable difference in terms of rear-camera quality as the new iPad has a much better camera when compared to the iPad 2. It’s really night and day, especially in low-light situation (for more information, read our new iPad review). If you have the old version, a simple update will download this one. If you don’t have Skype yet, just head to the App Store and search for it.
