Mad Catz will offer Halo 4 Tritton gaming headsets in time for holiday season

Mad Catz logoWith this year’s edition of E3 having come to a conclusion already, there is plenty of buzz going around, with the Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 far from finished considering the number of titles lined up for either platform. As for gaming peripherals, we did see our fair share of concepts and prototypes, where the Razer Artemis is definitely something worth keeping tabs of as our fingers remain crossed, hoping it will see the light of day eventually – the sooner, the better. Having said that, Mad Catz has been busy as well, with them announcing of a deal with Microsoft Studios to develop licensed Halo 4 gaming headsets that will fall under the Tritton range, and hopefully these will be able to ship in time for this year’s frenzied holiday season.

Darren Richardson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz Interactive, Inc., said, “We are excited to add Halo 4 to our portfolio of world class video game licenses. Halo is one of the world’s most popular video games and these new Halo branded headsets are sure to appeal to the passionate gamer who wants to maximize his or her Halo experience.” No idea on just how much a pair of these puppies will cost, and no images are available just yet, but we do hope that something will leak out sooner rather than later.
