Unlike the Google Play Store which lets you know which phone permissions an app requires, Apple users aren’t clued in to what apps on their devices are doing after they’ve been installed, and Clueful gave users a way to find out themselves. I guess users will need to look for an alternative method now.
Apple has been known to remove malicious apps from its app store, but this is one of the rare cases where an innocent app was targeted. Bitdefender is currently working with Apple to find out why their app was removed. Hopefully it was just a case of misunderstanding and will be back on the App Store in no time.
