LG Nitro HD on AT&T to get Android 4.0 ICS update at the end of July

If you own a LG Nitro HD handset, you’re probably going to be pleased to learn that come the end of July, AT&T has announced that the handset will officially be receiving the highly-anticipated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update! Granted it’s not the latest Jelly Bean Android 4.1 update, but we’re sure that Nitro HD owners will probably welcome it with open arms anyway. Better to be one version behind than two, right? The update is expected to be arriving on Tuesday and will feature LG’s Optimus UI 3.0 which will introduce an improved swipe-to-unlock feature, more display customization and a new download category in the phone’s menu. We’ll be keeping an eye out for this one, so be sure to check back with us on the 31st of July for more updates!
