Spy Hawk mini glider has a video surveillance system and can fly on autopilot

Flying toys are my favorite pastime ever since I was a brat. So when I got to know more about this cool spy plane, I was drawn to it immediately. It’s called the Spy Hawk, and yes, it’s a toy and a surveillance unmanned aerial vehicle rolled into one. Digging into the details of the Spy Hawk, it’s actually a three-channel mini glide that is equipped with a first-person video system capable of sending 5-megapixel live video to a 3.5-inch LCD via a remote control system.

What’s more is that this mini glider also has an autopilot system with gyro stabilization. If you’re curious about how far this cool toy can go, it has a range of up to 600 meters with an average flight time of 15 minutes on a single charge. And oh wait, in case you’re wondering where those videos will go, don’t fret because they will be saved directly into a built-in SD card with 4 GB of storage space. If you’re interested just like me, it will be coming to Red5 next month for £249.95, or roughly $387 based on today’s exchange rate.
